The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined The Ring Is King, trained by Paul W. Flynn, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

The Stewards enquired into an incident involving Killabraher Cross, ridden by Mr D.L. Queally, unplaced, Magical Moon (GB), ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, placed first, Fiord Cottage, ridden by Mr R.J. Kiely, unseated and Pale Face, ridden by Miss A.B. O'Connor, unplaced. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Tempest Missile, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
