The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Prince Jock (USA), trained by John Patrick Shanahan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have skin abrasions on both hind heels post race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Weld Arab, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Karen Reidy, rider of Aurelia Cotta, trained by Anthony Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount hung in the latter stages of this race.

The Stewards interviewed K.P. Darcy, rider of Boherna Lady, concerning his use of the whip in latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that K.P. Darcy was in breach of R10(4) by failing to give his mount time to respond and cautioned him having taken his record into consideration.

J.L. Cullen, rider of Mad Money, trained by D.McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel when landing after the second last hurdle and then slipped on the next stride.
