John Winston, rider of Up The Hill, trained by John W. Nicholson, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount cocked his jaw and ran out on the approach to the fourth hurdle.

K.J. Quigley, rider of One Cool Boy, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was carried out by a loose horse on the approach to the fifth hurdle.
