M.J. Ferris, rider of After Bert trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up in running having gone lame.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Latchfords Mill trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up in running having gone lame.

Patrick Lacey, trainer of Shrewd Move, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge pulled up in running having gone lame

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Verawal, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be cut on his right fore medial cannon.

R. Loughran, rider of King's Wharf trained by Lee Smyth, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up after the saddle had slipped in running.

The Stewards interviewed Mr P. Power, rider of Mr Picotee, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr P. Power was in breach of R10(4) by failing to give his mount time to respond to the whip and suspended him for 1 raceday having taken his previous record into consideration.
