The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.E. Splaine, rider of Golan Heights, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left from before the second last hurdle.

Paul W. Flynn, trainer of Steel King, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge fell at the last hurdle and was noted to be lame immediately afterwards.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Abarta, trained by V. T. O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of Primroseandblue, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not jump fluently.
