The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Credulous, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. W. Fleming , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that R.T. Dunne, rider of Colla Pier , weighed in at 2.2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record, suspended him for two race days.

A. Ring, rider of Just For Joe trained by Mrs Hannah Lee, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action and pulled up.

B.T. O'Connell, rider of Kiltipford Lady trained by Garrett James Power, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Courtncatcher, at the request of trainer, Patrick J. Duffy, and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards interviewed P. Carberry, rider of Road To Riches, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.4, in that he used the whip without giving his mount time to respond and having considered his record, suspended him for one race day.

M.F.Morris, trainer of Baily Green, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped badly post race
