The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.T. O'Connell, rider of Rosygo trained by Denis Leahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered and he pulled up.

The Stewards interviewed Mr D. Skehan, rider of Cloudy Morning, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he used the whip with excessive frequency and having considered his record, suspended him for one race day.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference approaching the second last fence involving Indian Fairy, ridden by A.F. O'Neill, placed first and Our Katie, ridden by B. Hayes, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and took no further action.
