Patrick Eamonn Corbett, rider of Strange Ways, trained by Robert Tyner, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped very high early on, ran green and made mistakes on the final circuit but stayed on in the closing stages.

D.N. Russell, rider of Hell Cat Maggie trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Hell Cat Maggie, trained by E. J. O'Grady, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.J. Benson, rider of Dashing Lady, trained by John W. Nicholson, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost her action behind and was pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Dashing Lady, trained by John W. Nicholson, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

A.E. Lynch, rider of West Council trained by I.Madden, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action and was pulled up.

The Stewards fined Ms Margaret Mullins, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Bowenscourt, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
