The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Patrick Eamonn Corbett, rider of Fade In, trained by Robert Tyner, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake and lost her action but was allowed a chance to recover and stayed on thereafter.

J.J. Burke, rider of Sizing Europe trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action at the back of the last fence.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Une Artiste (FR), trained by Nicky Henderson (in GB), at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

B.J. Geraghty, rider of Une Artiste (FR), trained by Nicky Henderson (in GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not handle the ground conditions.
