The Stewards interviewed Mr W.T. Cronin, rider of Notification, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Reguation 10.3.(g), in that he used the whip with his arm above shoulder height and having considered his record, cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.

J.J. Burke, rider of Colms Dream trained by Karl Thornton, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the fouth last hurdle and hung badly throughout.

J.P. Kerse, rider of Sharekan trained by Barry T. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he lost an iron in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Colms Dream, trained by Karl Thornton, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have mucous on endoscopic examination post race.
