The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Aklan, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing exceptionally hard post race.

R. Walsh, rider of Aklan, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled throughout this race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Killer Crow, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

Michael J. Quaid, trainer of Mrs Ding A Ling, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge burst a blood vessel and was pulled up.

I.J. McCarthy, rider of Kilmurry Kid, trained by John G. Hayes, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled on todays ground.

Mr C.W. Fennessy, rider of Colls Corner trained by Michael Barry, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up in running having gone lame.

The Stewards fined Kieran Purcell, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Mad Mans Magic, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
