031A Dunsany H'cap H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Groody Hill, trained by C.Roche, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

Michael O'Hare, trainer of Montana Slim, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was found to be lame post race.

031D Flyingbolt Novice S'chase

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Real Steel, trained by M.F.Morris, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have displayed a slight bilateral nasal discharge post race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Gilgamboa, trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have sustained a cut to his off hind pastern.

M.P. Walsh, rider of Gilgamboa, trained by E. Bolger, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.

B.J. Cooper, rider of Real Steel, trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount didn't jump well and made a respiratory noise in-running.

031E Ten Up Novice S'chase

The Stewards requested a report from Noel Meade, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Very Wood (FR), winner, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that he could offer no definite reasons for his poor runs last twice but that the horse is an inconsistent and quirky sort. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
