The Stewards enquired into an incident after the third last fence involving Indevan (GB), ridden by D.J. Mullins, placed fourth, Urano (FR), ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed first and Gold Patrol, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards cautioned S.W. Flanagan to ride with more care in future.

Mr J.C. Barry, rider of Captain Davy Jones trained by Ms. Debbie Hartnett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ducked left off the track and was eased.
