The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Identity Thief, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of Babbling Stream (GB), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount cocked his jaw and ran out.
