The Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the first bend involving Virile, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, unplaced, Acroleina, ridden by P.J. Smullen, unplaced, Boughtforasong, ridden by G.F. Carroll, unplaced, Catwilldo, ridden by R.P. Downey, unplaced, My Princess Emma, ridden by R. Coakley, placed fourth and Count Of Carabass, ridden by R.P. Whelan,unplaced, where it appeared Acroleina had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised G.F.Carroll and D.W.O'Connor to ride with more care in future, having given both riders the benefit of the doubt.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Acroleina trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered interference on the first bend.

The Stewards informed M.Halford, trainer that Cafe Nervosa, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Whitethorn, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green and may not have handled the surface.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Dodgybingo, ridden by F.M. Berry, placed first, Hint Of Frost, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed third and Zig Zag, ridden by Anastasia O'Brien, placed second, where it appeared Zig Zag ran out of racing room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
