The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Stone Hard, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

B.J. Cooper, rider of Stone Hard, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly.

B.M. Cash, rider of Worthcominghomefor, trained by William P Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had a wind operation in the past and was rode in a holding manner, in order to get home on the testing ground.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Worthcominghomefor, trained by William P Murphy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have unilateral nasal discharge and to be blowing hard post race .
