The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Sir Raston, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed second and Tara Dylan, ridden by L.F. Roche, placed third, where it appeared that both horses made contact when upsides. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings' and took no further action.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Honor Oak, trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly left in the straight.

R. Coakley, rider of Sharjah, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount moved poorly in the straight and stopped quickly.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Whatever It Takes, trained by Niall Madden, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards informed Patrick Martin, trainer that Dottie Lottie, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards interviewed M.C. Hussey, rider of Ineffable, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that M.C. Hussey was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive force and frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration the Stewards suspended M.C. Hussey for 2 racedays.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Have A Nice Day (GB), trained by Sabrina J. Harty, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly right in the straight.
