P.T. Enright, rider of Rakaia Rosa trained by Vincent Laurence Halley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly and was pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Dragon Khan, trained by C.Roche, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards fined John W. Nicholson, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Ellas Ma, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined The Granson, trained by Ms. Sandra Hughes, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
