C.D. Hayes, rider of Oh So Sensible, trained by Tracey Collins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount's saddle slipped.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Newberry New, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be Post Race Normal.
