The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Hazamar, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, Laburnum Park, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fifth, Monarch, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed second and St Gallen, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed first. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned in the presence of Pat Keating, who accompanied D.O'Brien in the Stewards room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that D.O'Brien was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his record, suspended him for one race day.
115C Irish Stallion Farms EBF RaceThe Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined The Moore Factor, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
115F Follow Us On Facebook H'capThe Stewards fined K.J. Condon, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Dancing Noretta, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Bridle Path, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
