S. Foley, rider of Bobabout, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount suffered interference on the home turn.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Propriano (USA), trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount suffered interference on the home turn.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Bendigo Too, trained by James Coyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount didn't handle the track.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Henry's Girl, trained by John E. Kiely, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount raced keenly in early stages but stopped travelling thereafter.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Henry's Girl, trained by John E. Kiely, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
