The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Bean Feasa (GB), trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Quick Chat (USA), trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Kimbay trained by Noel Lawlor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Dawn Missile (GB), trained by William Haggas (in GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled throughout this race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Dawn Missile (GB), trained by William Haggas (in GB), at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal but had pulled a hind shoe.
