The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Lizzies Champ, trained by Patrick G.Kelly, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mr D.G. Lavery, rider of Dynamic Allen (FR) trained by B. R. Hamilton, reported to the Clerk of Scales that the ground was too quick for his mount.
