The Stewards fined D.J. Bunyan, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Flower Of May (GB), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
W.M. Roper, trainer of Sammyjade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge did not handle the ground.
138E Brady Burns Insurance Brokers H'capThe Stewards enquired into an incident about two furlongs from the winning post involving Zafayan, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed second, Tigris River, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed first and Alton Bay, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fourth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action.
