R. Walsh, rider of Herminio (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake and hit a hurdle.

R.M. Power, rider of High Frontier, trained by Yvonne Latta, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake and he lost his irons.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Isn't She Lovely trained by J.G.Cosgrave, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount flattened out quickly and hung left with a circuit to go.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Up For Discussion (GB), trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
