The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L.F. Roche, rider of Lizard Point, trained by Patrick J. Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right and did not act on the track.

S. Foley, rider of Carta Blanca, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not act on the track.

D.P. Linehan, rider of Regnum (UKR) trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped in the early stages.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Lizard Point, trained by Patrick J. Flynn, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
